HIGHTEC ANTIFREEZE COOLANT AN-SF 12+ is a modern, ready-to-use long-life coolant based on monoethylene glycol. Supplied pre-mixed for frost protection to -40 C, it delivers high corrosion protection and reliable heat transfer straight from the bottle. The silicate-free, nitrite-free, amine-free and phosphate-free formula keeps cooling channels clean and is gentle on seals.

Purpose and specifications

Designed for the cooling systems of modern passenger cars, vans and commercial vehicles with aluminium engines as well as cast iron engines. It meets ASTM D3306, BS 6580 and SAE J1034, and carries approvals including VW TL-774 F (G12/G12+), MB 326.3, Ford WSS-M 97B44-D, GM 6277M, MAN 324 SNF, Jaguar Land Rover STJLR.651.5003 and Volvo VCS.

When to use / change?

Use it when refilling or replacing the coolant in a system that calls for a G12/G12+ type long-life fluid. As a long-service coolant it is typically replaced every 3 to 5 years or according to the manufacturer schedule. It protects across an operating range of roughly -40 C to +120 C. Shelf life is approximately 5 years when stored unopened in a cool, dry place.
