HIGHTEC ANTIFREEZE COOLANT AN 18 LC is a ready-to-use premium long-life coolant built on a monoethylene glycol base with Si-OAT lobrid technology. It is supplied pre-mixed for frost protection down to -40 C and delivers high corrosion and frost protection straight from the bottle. The nitrite-, amine- and phosphate-free formula protects both aluminium and cast iron engines.
Purpose and specifications
Designed for the cooling systems of modern passenger cars and commercial vehicles that call for a long-life silicate-organic coolant. It is approved to VW TL 774-G(12++), VW TL J(G13), VW TL L(G12Evo), MB 325.3, MB 326.3, MAN 324 Si-OAT and BMW LC-18, and meets ASTM D3306, ASTM D6210 and SAE J1034.

When to use / change?
Choose it when a G12++/Si-OAT long-life coolant is specified or as a like-for-like top-up. As a ready mix it is poured in undiluted. Replacement is typically recommended every 5 years or per the service schedule, with an effective protection range of roughly -40 C to +120 C under pressure. Unopened shelf life is approximately 5 years when stored cool and sealed.
Frequently asked questions
Do I need to dilute this coolant with water?
No. It is a ready-mix already balanced for -40 C, so it is poured in undiluted.
Can I mix it with my existing coolant?
For best results flush and refill. If topping up, combine only with a coolant of the same Si-OAT/G12++ technology.
Is it safe for aluminium engines?
Yes, it is explicitly formulated to protect aluminium and cast iron alike, and it is nitrite-, amine- and phosphate-free.
