Its robust film keeps gears protected under the high torque and shock loads typical of powerful boat drivetrains.

Purpose and specifications

This oil is intended for boat drives, sterndrives and outboard lower units that require a heavy SAE 90 gear lubricant. It has been tested in Mercruiser NXT and Bravo One XR drives and is also ideally suited to Volvo Penta and OMC drives. The single-grade SAE 90 viscosity is matched to high-load marine final-drive gearsets that operate in the presence of water.
