HIGHTEC Oil Stop Leak is an oil additive that tackles oil loss caused by ageing, hardened seals. It regenerates and conditions shaft seal rings and polymer seals, restoring their elasticity so they seal properly again. The result is reduced oil consumption and fewer drips, without any dismantling work or seal replacement.

Purpose and specifications

This additive is suitable for all engine oils and works in both petrol and diesel engines. As a universal product it carries no vehicle-specific OEM approvals and can be used across a wide range of vehicles. It targets leaking shaft seal rings and elastomer seals, swelling and reconditioning them to prevent further oil loss while remaining fully compatible with the existing oil fill.

When to use / change?

Use this product as soon as you notice minor oil seepage, rising oil consumption or spots under the car, and ideally add it with each oil change as ongoing protection. Simply pour it into the warm engine oil; it then works during normal driving. With typical oil-change intervals of 10,000 km to 15,000 km it can be topped up at every service. It remains effective across the engine's operating temperature range. Shelf life is approximately 5 years when stored sealed in a cool, dry place.
