ROWE ENGINE OIL SAVER is an oil-soluble additive that reinforces the lubricating film and helps reduce oil consumption in worn or higher-mileage engines. It stabilises the oil under heat and load, slowing the burning and loss of oil past tired piston rings and valve guides. The result is steadier oil level between top-ups and quieter, smoother running.

Purpose and specifications

This additive is intended for petrol and diesel engines, with or without turbocharger, that show rising oil consumption or blue smoke as they age. It is a maintenance product without an engine oil viscosity approval and is simply added to the existing engine oil. Compatible with all common modern engine oils and seal materials.

When to use / change?

Add it at an oil change, or into the existing oil between changes, on engines that consume more oil than they should. The contents stay active for the full oil-change interval, so renew the dose each time you change the oil, typically every 10,000 to 15,000 km or once a year. It performs across normal engine operating temperatures. Unopened, the product has a shelf life of approximately 5 years when stored cool and dry.

Will it stop oil consumption completely?
