Cabin Filter

MANN-FILTER cabin air filters (100% OE) create a physical barrier between passengers and incoming air, retaining up to 100% of solid microparticles (down to 1 µm). Depending on the protection level, basic particle filters (CU) prevent contamination of the air-conditioning evaporator, while advanced activated carbon filters (CUK) adsorb up to 90% of toxic gases (sulphur dioxide, nitrogen oxides, ozone) and neutralise odours.

Maximum protection is provided by the flagship biofunctional FreciousPlus (FP) filters. Their structure includes a polyphenol coating blocking more than 95% of allergens and an antimicrobial layer that chemically inhibits the growth of bacteria and mould on the filter surface. To maintain ventilation efficiency and air quality, the regulated replacement interval is 1 year or 15,000 km.
