Fuel filters

Modern common rail and direct injection systems work at pressures above 2,000 bar with clearances finer than a human hair. At that scale a trace of rust or a few drops of water in the tank is enough to score a high pressure pump or ruin an injector, and the fuel filter is the only barrier in the way.

Why water separation matters

Diesel absorbs moisture, and condensation gathers in the tank through winter. MANN-FILTER fuel filters use multi layer media that separate both fine solids and free water while keeping flow rates high, and many diesel versions include a collection bowl with a drain plug you should empty at each service.

Replace the fuel filter at the interval given in your service book, prime the system properly after fitting, and never reuse old sealing rings. Fast delivery across the EU.
