Coolant filters

On trucks, buses and construction machinery the cooling system carries far more than water. Scale, casting sand, rust and spent additive residue circulate with the coolant, eroding the water pump seal and gradually blocking radiator cores.

Coolant filters address both halves of that problem. The element removes solid contamination and keeps flow through the radiator free, while many MANN-FILTER coolant filters also carry an integrated chemical charge that releases corrosion and cavitation inhibitors gradually. Cavitation is the hidden enemy in heavy diesel engines, where vibrating cylinder liners can pit their own walls once the additive level drops.
